What is the Loreto Bay Marine Park?
Loreto Bay National Park is a protected natural area located in the Gulf of California, in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. Established on July 19, 1996, this park is known for its biological diversity, including up to 30 species of marine mammals, such as dolphins and blue whales. The park also offers various tourist activities, such as sport fishing, ecotourism, and marine wildlife observation. It is also an important sanctuary for biodiversity conservation and was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
